Q -
Does Behind the Emerald Curtain go backstage?
A - For insurance reasons, we cannot bring people backstage.  What we do is bring backstage out front to you.  Behind the Emerald Curtain guests get a close-up look at costumes, props, wigs, set model, and props in the museum area.  Then we go inside the auditorium where we watch the films and point out items of interest that you might not notice when you are watching the show.  We’ll show you all the tools the stage manager uses to call the show and keep it running eight times a week.
Q -
Should I see Behind the Emerald Curtain if I haven't seen, or can't get tickets to Wicked?
A - Many of our guest at Behind the Emerald Curtain are actually not seeing, or have not seen, Wicked.  Our tour is a really seminar on how Broadway works, and it relates to any show you are seeing.  We use Wicked as our principal example, but it is by no means a Wicked-only experience.  You will leave Behind the Emerald Curtain with new insider information which will enhance your next Broadway experience, whatever that may be.  Check out what group leaders are saying on the Audience Reaction section of our website.
Q - What is the running time of the tour?
A - The tour lasts approximately 90 minutes in LA and NY.  Chicago tour lasts 60 minutes.  At each tour, the actors stay after for an informal meet and greet in the lobby.

Will merchandise be available?
A - Yes, there will be a full selection of Wicked Merchandise in the upper lobby after the tour concludes. There is also special merchandise available only to people who take the tour.
